Project Update

We have decided to focus solely on mobile apps, like DoctorOnDemand, Health Tap, and  LiveHealth Online.  We want to gather data on the usability of these apps and what the future is for them. Below is our original project proposal, expanded on.

  1. If you add me to your blog, I could post the info I thought would be useful. I can still post it here, but a bit harder. The first is the usability assessment. Here it lists different ways of doing a usability of the telemedicine 3 apps you mentioned earlier. Second, here is a Table of usability heuristics to help you figure out those that are relevant across your three apps.

Finally, here is the presentation of diabetic health apps that used a survey. It's probably more detail than you can provide, but it will give you an idea of how they went about assessing its usability.

    Hope this helps.

    1. Ignore the dates. I used it last year. Mainly focus on the content of the usability assessment than the "assignment."

    2. Here is the correct link to the diabetes presentation. (This is why I prefer to post it than add comments I can't change.)

    3. You've been added to the blog. Great information, I think the usability survey is a great idea and would definitely help with our project aim. Thanks!

    4. Thanks for adding me. Let me know how I can help. Because these apps are different, consider what usability factors you want to consider from the Table of usability heuristics.
